Kus buss on? (Tallinn)

Kus buss on? ("Where is the bus?") shows Tallinn public transport on a live map — buses, trolleys and trams, exactly where they are right now.

Pick the routes you care about and tap "Show on map". Only those vehicles stay on the map, so you can see at a glance whether your bus is nearly here or still on the other side of town.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Choose routes — buses, trolleys and trams on separate tabs, with search by route number or name
• Favourites — save a set of routes under a name ("Ride home", "To work") and reopen it with one tap
• Vehicles on the map — the arrow shows the direction of travel, the label the route number, the colour the vehicle type
• Map backgrounds — light, dark, monochrome and aerial photography
• Dark mode — follows your phone's own setting
• On a tablet — route list and map side by side
• My location — a blue dot on the map, if you grant permission

WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM

Vehicle positions come from the City of Tallinn's open data feed and refresh every second. If a vehicle is missing from the map, it is not reporting its position right now — the app shows exactly what the city broadcasts. The app does not show timetables or stop arrival times.

An internet connection is needed for the map to work.
