Mediocre Minimal Launcher

Mediocre Minimal Launcher is a no-frills home screen launcher built around one idea: your phone's home screen should get out of the way.

No widgets crammed into every corner. No app drawer buried behind three swipes. Just your apps, a search bar, and nothing else demanding your attention.

Pinned apps & groups: Pin the apps you actually use and organise them into named groups. Long-press any app to pin it, add it to a group, or jump straight to one of its shortcuts.

App search: Tap the search bar to instantly filter your installed apps by name. It's fast.

Clock & calendar: A clock sits at the top of the home screen. An optional calendar card shows your upcoming events at a glance — no calendar app needed.

Media controls: A compact media card appears automatically when something is playing, so you can skip tracks without leaving the home screen.

Gestures: Map swipe gestures (down, left, right) and draw gestures (circle, Z) to any installed app or system action — search, notifications, quick settings, or your voice assistant. Set each gesture independently.

Icon shapes: Choose from five icon shapes — Circle, Squircle, Rounded, Square, or Teardrop — applied consistently across all your pinned app icons.

Icon packs: Supports standard Android icon packs. Switch packs or revert to system icons at any time from Settings.

Themed icons: Optionally follows Android's themed icon system for a consistent, cohesive look.

Notification dots: Optionally show a dot on pinned app icons when they have unread notifications.

Transparency & blur: Adjust background transparency and wallpaper blur independently. Blur support depends on your device and Android version.

Backup & restore: Export your entire launcher config — pinned apps, groups, settings — and restore it on any device.
