Pilzgebiete – Pilze finden

Mushroom Areas helps you explore suitable forest and nature areas in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The map shows modeled habitat potential and not specific mushroom locations.

The Mushroom Library explains 20 mushroom species, their habitats, seasons, and special characteristics. The map, area database, knowledge base, mushroom library, and basic weather functions are free and available without a subscription.

With Premium, you can combine available species filters and compare suitable areas. Depending on the data available, areas show species-specific suitability or a cautiously classified host tree potential. The A/B/C classes describe habitat suitability, not the probability of finding mushrooms.

Switch directly between the map and satellite view. Search for locations, view areas and their data, and access information on protected areas and collecting regulations.

The free weather map shows modeled average precipitation for the last 26 full days for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Premium adds detailed weather data for individual areas. Seasonal variations in topsoil moisture are descriptive supplementary data and not a general formula for mushroom suitability. Data status and sources remain visible.

Premium also offers the best local sub-areas, enhanced guidance, and detailed area information. Private mushroom spots with notes are saved only on your device. Premium Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription; the localized price is displayed by Google Play, and purchases can be restored.

Mushroom areas are not mushroom identification guides or eligibility for consumption. Only collect and consume mushrooms you have confidently identified; if in doubt, seek expert advice. Location potential is not a guarantee of finding, identifying, or consuming mushrooms.
