dAKZ

The dAKZ app simplifies and digitizes the process of obtaining VAT-related export and customer certificates (export receipts/export certificates) for non-commercial travel at the Swiss border. You receive the export receipts digitally, easily, and quickly on your smartphone.

When shopping, simply present the mobile dAKZ card stored in the app at the checkout. The merchant scans the dAKZ card, and the purchase data is transferred directly to the app. Before leaving Switzerland, you can select the goods you are carrying and declare the export to customs. If the app displays a green exit indicator, a stop at the border customs office is not required, and you can leave directly with your goods. In cases where the app displays a request for inspection (red message), you must present your goods for inspection at a participating border customs office. After the inspection, you can leave Switzerland. The export of the goods is automatically recorded in the app via location tracking at the border crossing. To do this, you need to activate location tracking on your phone. After your departure has been recorded, the export receipt will be made available to you in the app. The refund process is handled outside of dAKZ; please contact the retailer if you have any questions.
