Which variety produced well last year? Who did you give seedlings to this summer? How many plants did you plant out this year – and how many died? "My Tomatoes" is the growing journal for hobby gardeners who want to seriously document their tomato varieties over several seasons.
The app is just as fast in the garden as it is at home at the table: actions like sowing, germination, planting out, or the arrival of a plant are recorded in 5–15 seconds. It also works offline – cloud syncing runs in the background as soon as you have an internet connection again.
VARIETY DATA
Record the name, description, flavor, size, fruit type (cocktail, cherry, beefsteak, egg-romaine, salad, wild tomato), growth habit, ripening time, site suitability, resistances, and seed source for each variety. Includes multiple photos per variety and the ability to indicate whether it's open-pollinated or F1 hybrid.
PRO-PLANT TRACKING
Instead of one large form, you record each plant individually using action sheets: sowing, germination, planting out, died, giving away. Enter plant numbers as a range (3-6, 8), and the stage of each plant is visible.
SEASON MANAGEMENT
Each season is managed independently—with status cards showing what's currently happening (sown, germinated, in the ground) and allowing comparison to the previous year.
RECIPIENT HISTORY
Who received which varieties and when? Create recipient records once, then assign recipients to each seedling later—the history for each person is retained.
FOUR EVALUATIONS

- Year-on-year comparison of best varieties

- Seed requirement planning for the next season

Family members or gardening partners can join the same household—via an 8-character invitation code. Everyone sees and edits the same data in real time.
SECURITY AND DATA PROTECTION
Registration via email or Google. App lock via fingerprint/facial recognition after 15 minutes of inactivity. Data encrypted in the EU (Firebase Frankfurt). Complete data export as JSON (GDPR Art. 20), account and data deletion possible at any time (Art. 17).
