"Spelling for Kids" is a colorful and user-friendly app that helps children practice Polish spelling without grades, stress, or time pressure.
The app was designed for children just beginning to learn spelling. Large buttons, a clear layout, user-friendly messages, and a special font used in exercises help them focus on correct spelling.
WHAT'S IN THE APP?
• 641 words to practice
• exercises with Ó/U, Ż/RZ, and H/CH
• the ability to combine all categories into one set
• 20 dictations of varying difficulty
• clearly presented spelling rules
• "Test Yourself" mode allows for a relaxed consolidation of knowledge
• extensive statistics, also useful for parents
• a list of difficult words that require additional practice
LEARNING TAILORED TO THE CHILD
Before starting an exercise, you can select the number of words and determine the number of correct answers required to pass. Children practice at their own pace, and a visual progress bar shows how close they are to completing a set.
After each answer, the app displays the correctly spelled word. This makes mistakes an opportunity to learn and reinforce correct spelling.
NO PUNISHMENT FOR ERRORS
In this app, mistakes are a natural part of learning. We don't use grades or messages that could discourage children. Friendly feedback motivates further attempts and helps build confidence.
STATISTICS FOR PARENTS
The app saves progress locally on the device. Statistics show, among other things:
• number of exercises completed
• number of words solved
• correct and incorrect answers
• learning effectiveness
• most challenging words
• progress in specific categories
This allows parents to easily see which topics have already been mastered and which ones are worth revisiting.
