【From the App Developer】

This app was born from my own experience of reading PDFs for over 20 years.

When I first started reading PDFs,
I would bookmark pages and later type those phrases into a text file.

I continued this time-consuming process for a long time.

Although it was time-consuming, there were benefits when reviewing.

However, year by year, my reading pace increased, and the amount of text I could no longer manually input became unmanageable.

With books from typical e-book stores, you can highlight text using the app's functions.

However, highlighting is difficult to do manually, and this often interrupted my reading flow.

The stress outweighed the benefits, and I couldn't use that method.

Furthermore, with diagrams and illustrations, it's impossible to add text later.

Considering diagrams and illustrations, the most convenient solution is to save the page itself.
With this in mind, I used commercially available PDF editing apps to mark (circle, for example) areas of interest.

After reading, I extracted the relevant PDF pages using a self-made program.

By managing these pages as images, I created a format that makes them easy to review later.

However, this was still quite time-consuming, so I gradually automated the process to make it easier to use.

A few years ago, I built a dedicated server with these functions implemented.

This system could handle the volume of extensive reading and large amounts of handwritten notes.

It allows direct reading and writing of PDFs via a browser, and saves handwritten pages as they are.

While extremely convenient, it had a major drawback:

Because it's a server system and PDFs tend to be large, it requires a high-speed internet connection to function.

This app was created to overcome this limitation.

Originally, I started developing this app for integration with a dedicated server, but I realized it was perfectly usable as a standalone app.

Furthermore, creating an app offers powerful advantages such as high-speed processing and the ability to function entirely offline.

I developed this app to create my ideal reading environment, but then I suddenly thought, "This could be useful to others..." and decided to make it available for general sale.

I would be happy if it could be of help to those who value reading as much as I do.
