Phosphor: Terminal Launcher
Zanoshky
Phosphor turns your Android home screen into a retro terminal. Every part of the screen is drawn with text characters on a glowing CRT style display.
WHAT YOU GET
• Big pixel clock with a seconds rail
• Live weather as a pixel landscape: sun with turning rays, the moon in its real phase, stars, clouds drifting with the wind, rain, snow, lightning and fog over hills, pines and a cabin. Sunrise and sunset with the forecast. Weather comes from Open Meteo, no account needed
• System gauges for battery, memory and disk, plus a live network traffic chart
• Calendar agenda for your upcoming events
• Notification log: tap to open, hold to dismiss
• Media controls for what is playing
• cliamp radio built in: Lofi, Meditative, Synthwave, EDM, Chiptunes, Amiga, NCS House, Dubstep, Phonk, Chill and more. Pick a station, see the song title as it plays, and control it from the shade or your headphones. Radio by cliamp, radio.cliamp.stream
• Quick actions you choose yourself: torch, wifi, bluetooth, sound, do not disturb, location, battery saver and more
• App drawer with fuzzy search and a letter rail
• Dock with your most used apps
PHOSPHOR PRO (OPTIONAL)
One purchase in the app adds:
• Android widgets from your other apps, drawn inside phosphor boxes on the grid, stacked if you like
• 2fa codes: an authenticator for your sign in codes, kept encrypted on this phone only. Scan a QR code or a picture of one, bring codes over from Google Authenticator, and keep your own backup file sealed with a passphrase
• A text and json editor: open a file, format it, check it and walk it as a tree
• Strong passwords and passphrases, made on the phone and never saved
• 12 pro themes, pure black and pure white among them
MAKE IT YOURS
• 5 home layouts: dashboard, focus, inbox, monitor and zen
• A main panel you can swap
• 14+ colour themes, including light ones
• Ambience effects: rain, stars, embers and snow
• CRT glass effect
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no analytics. One optional pro purchase, no subscription. Your calendar, notifications and app list stay on your phone. Your approximate location is only used to show the weather and place name for where you are. The radio connects to radio.cliamp.stream only while a station plays.
