In accordance with the provisions of articles 6 paragraph 3 and 26 of Decree No. 22/12 of March 25, 2022 establishing and statutes of the Public Establishment called Academic Transport, acronym Trans-Academia. It pleased the President of the Republic Mr. Félix Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO to provide students with a means of transport to facilitate their travel.

The said public establishment will have a legal personality and will enjoy its administrative and financial autonomy called "Academic Transport" abbreviated "Trans Academia". The purpose of this establishment is the public transport of students from higher education institutions and university of the Democratic Republic of Congo at preferential rates.
