[Taxi driver written test format has changed; your current information may be outdated]

Starting August 3, 2026, the taxi driver written test will be merged into the "Taxi and Ride-Hailing Comprehensive Written Test": The test consists of 65 questions in 45 minutes. Part A (Taxi and Ride-Hailing Operations) requires answering 25 out of 30 questions correctly, and Part B (Road User Code) requires answering 30 out of 35 questions correctly. Passing requires passing both parts. The first batch of candidates will take the test in mid-September.

This app has fully adopted the new format.

[Comprehensive Ride-Hailing Content] Questions are based on the Transport Department's "Taxi and Ride-Hailing Operations Booklet": Three statutory conditions for ride-hailing services, driver-vehicle binding, 7-seat limit, no picking up passengers on the street, display of vehicle certificates, platform-customized fares and receipts, and the syndicated effects of driver's license cancellation. All questions are included with explanations.

[Location and Route Questions Align with Transport Department List] Appendix II of the booklet lists 255 designated locations and 18 routes, covering the entire question bank to ensure accuracy.

[New Mock Exam Format] 65 questions, 45-minute countdown. Questions are randomly selected from sections A and B, scored separately, and graded separately. The exam automatically ends when time is up. You can also choose to focus on either the "Taxi" or "Ride-Hailing" section to practice your preferred content first.
