Moroccan cuisine reflects the history of the country and the different populations that have settled there.

The tajine and the harira come from the Berbers, the first inhabitants of the region. The Bedouins brought dates, milk, cereals and bread while the Moors brought olive oil, almonds, fruits and herbs and from the Arabs came spices; without forgetting the British who imported the famous tea.
