Bites is live in Cape Town first, with more cities opening soon. Search works anywhere, and outside Cape Town you'll see a heads-up where fewer prices have been added so far.

HOW IT WORKS

Search for what you're craving — burger, pizza, coffee — and see prices reported by real people nearby, sorted the way you want: cheapest, closest, best value, top rated, or most recently verified. Typo-tolerant search finds what you mean even when you misspell it, and searching a restaurant by name pulls up its whole tracked menu.

REAL PRICES, NOT GUESSES

Every price comes from someone who actually paid it, never an estimate. Each one is dated and shows how fresh it is (Verified, Recent, Older, or Needs Verification), so you always know how much to trust it. Track how a dish's price has changed over time, not just what it costs today.

SNAP AND SAVE

Got a receipt or a menu photo? Snap it and Bites reads the item, price and date for you automatically, then asks you to confirm before anything is saved, so you're always in control of what gets added.

DELIVERY VS IN-PERSON

See exactly how much more delivery costs. Bites compares delivery-app prices against in-person prices for the same item, so you know how much you'd save by eating in.

THE SNACKING FEED

Log every bite with a photo, rating and vibe tags, and choose whether it's public or just for you. Follow other food lovers, and once you follow each other you're Bites friends. Plan a bite with friends in Plans: pick a day, add dishes or whole restaurants, see the route on a map and invite anyone with a link.

YOUR FOOD DIARY

Every price you log builds your personal food diary, complete with a calendar view and a monthly recap of your best value finds, biggest splurges, longest streaks and new places tried.
