This conversation assistance app combines ideas with the latest AI technology for people who have these kinds of problems.
It can also be used as a voice training tool for infants, children, the elderly, and those with hearing impairments.
*This app was created through a joint development project between Chiaki Matsuda (keyboard layout inventor and designer), who had been developing this idea for many years, and Gemini, a reliable AI partner (improvement suggestions and code generation assistance).
[Main Features]
● Blazing Fast Japanese Input
By arranging "strings with geminate consonants (っ)" based on phonetics, it enables ultra-fast communication without slowing down the speed of conversation.
Example: To pronounce "nikukyuu" (paw print):
Tap "na" ➔ Select "nikui" from the pop-up ➔
Tap "Delete" to remove "i" (leaving "niku") ➔
Tap "ka" ➔ Select "kyuu" from the pop-up
Tapping "Speak" will pronounce "nikukyuu" in an easy-to-understand tenor voice, assisting with conversation.
*The paw-shaped "Number/Alphabet/Symbol Switching" and "Uppercase/Lowercase Switching" buttons allow you to instantly switch the pop-up text.
*The cute "paw-shaped buttons" are designed to be intuitively tappable, making them easy to use without reading complicated instructions.
*We intentionally removed confusing "settings buttons" to prioritize ease of use and immediate usability upon startup.
● One-Touch Japanese/Korean Switching
Simply tap the "Japanese/Korean button" to switch between "Japanese Kana input" and "Korean Hangul input" at any time.
To input Hangul, tap the consonant letter + vowel letter (+ final consonant letter) and press "Convert" to confirm the characters. Continuous input and tenor voice assistance using the "Speak" button are also smooth.
● Hybrid Hearing Aid Function
It instantly transcribes ambient sounds into text and displays them on the screen, while adjusting the sound quality to deliver it to the earphones for clear audio. It does not produce unpleasant high-pitched feedback sounds.
*Note: This app is not a "medical device (hearing aid)." It is also different from a "sound amplifier" that simply amplifies ambient sounds; it is a unique "hybrid conversation assistance function."
【Volume Adjustment and Tips for Comfortable Use】
・Volume Adjustment: Use the "volume buttons" on your smartphone. To protect your ears, do not suddenly turn the volume up high; gradually adjust from your usual low volume.
・Earphone Use Recommended: If earphones are not connected, the sound will be amplified through the speaker.
* Speaker Usage Precautions: If the microphone picks up sound from the speaker again, the same characters will be repeatedly displayed on the screen (transcribed). In this case, lowering your smartphone's volume slightly or using earphones (or headphones) will comfortably prevent this.
* Diary Notepad Display Area (Part of 10,000 characters displayed at the top of the screen)
Records characters from "Japanese Kana Input/Speech," "Korean Hangul Input/Speech," and "Hearing Aid Function."
* The "Diary Notepad Display Area (10,000 characters)" can be used as a "Diary" or "Work Notepad."
* Characters are retained even if the screen is temporarily turned off using the "Back Button (3-button navigation)."
* If the number of characters exceeds 10,000, the first recorded characters will be automatically deleted.

➔ Displays the voices of those in front of you in large text on the screen with a single touch, and delivers them to speakers or earphones in a low-pitched voice (bass voice) that is easy for elderly people with hearing loss to hear. Multilingual support is available for foreigners residing in or traveling to Japan.
・"Paw Touch Input & Hearing Aid (Full Function Screen)" Button
➔ Switches to the full-function screen with "blazing-fast Japanese input" and "hybrid hearing aid" functions.
* **"Voice" Button**
➔ The currently entered text (Hiragana/Korean Hangul) is spoken in an easy-to-understand tenor voice and displayed in the diary/notepad area.
* **"Delete" Button**
➔ Deletes the currently entered (unconfirmed) characters one by one. Corrections are easy if you press the wrong button. (All text is not deleted.)
* **"Japanese/Korean" Button**
➔ A single tap instantly switches between the "Japanese Kana input" and "Korean Hangul input" screens.
* **"Hearing Assistance" Button**
➔ Activates the "Hybrid Conversation Assistance Function," which instantly transcribes surrounding conversations, displays them on the screen, and delivers them to the earphones with clear sound quality.
* **"Japanese Kana AKASATANAHAMAYARAWA" Buttons**
➔ Tapping each kana button brings up a text input button.
* **"Numbers, Letters, and Symbols Switching" Button**

*On Android 10 or earlier, or some older devices, voice recognition accuracy may be reduced, or onomatopoeia may not be recognized correctly.
*Depending on the Android OS version and model of your device, the "hearing assistance feature" voice may not switch to a low-pitched (bass) voice and may play in a normal tenor voice. (The "string input" and "speaking function" for Japanese Kana and Korean Hangul will function correctly in all versions.)
