Example 1 – Cash Credit
If you borrow GHS 1,000 for 90 days (3 months) at 10% monthly interest:
Processing fee (2%): GHS 20
Amount disbursed to user: GHS 980
Total interest over 90 days: GHS 300 (10% × 3 months × GHS 1,000)
Total repayment: GHS 1,300
Monthly installment (approx.): GHS 433.33

Example 2 – Device Financing
If you borrow GHS 1,000 for 90 days (3 months) at 12% monthly interest:
Processing fee (2%): GHS 20
Amount disbursed to user or paid to vendor: GHS 980
Total interest over 90 days: GHS 360 (12% × 3 months × GHS 1,000)
Total repayment: GHS 1,360
Monthly installment (approx.): GHS 453.33

Disclosures

The 2% processing fee is deducted upfront, so the actual amount you receive or applied toward a device will be less than the approved loan amount.
