In Oxenrift, the whole dungeon fits on nine cards. Monsters breathe beside potions. A blade sits next to a trap. The portal waits only if you survive long enough to open it. You move one adjacent step at a time—and every step is a bet.
Strike too early and the board hits back. Hoard gold and ignore your wounds, and the next floor will finish what this one started. Clear a path, claim what you need, and charge deeper before the cards turn against you.
Between runs, Sanctuary Town remembers. Forge your Warrior, Wizard, Rogue, or Paladin a little harder. Study what nearly killed you. Then walk back into the dark with a sharper edge.
No sprawling map. No endless menus. Just a brutal little board, rising floors, and the question that keeps pulling you down:
