Touch the screen and a ripple spreads out from your finger, carrying a tone and a matching pulse of haptic feedback. Hold, and the ripple settles into a slow circle. Drag, and it trails behind you. Up to five fingers at once.
There is nothing to learn, nothing to score and nothing to get wrong.

The touch
Tap for a spreading ring, hold for a steady circle, drag for a trail. Every ripple arrives with its own tone and its own haptic pulse, so one touch lands in three senses at once. Set the visual intensity where you want it. Set the haptic strength where you want it, or switch haptics off and use it as a silent sensory fidget in a room full of people.
The sound
Three sound modes change what your fingers play:
• Relax — soft, slow tones
• Focus — clearer and brighter
• Sleep — low and deep, for the end of the day
Behind them runs an ambient layer that changes with the theme: ocean waves, forest, the quiet of a night sky, brown noise. Touch sounds and ambient sound have separate volume sliders, so you can have one, the other, both or neither.
Fade out
Set a length and the sound holds where you left it, then gets quieter, then stops. It keeps playing with the screen off, and lets the audio go when it ends — nothing is left running. You can also choose whether the screen still answers your touch while a fade runs, for when the phone is beside you rather than in your hands.
The breathing circle
A circle that grows and shrinks to timings you set yourself — your inhale, your hold, your exhale. Follow it for a minute or twenty. Nothing counts down and nothing keeps score.

Ocean Waves is free, and it is the whole app. Nothing is held back behind the other five. Forest, Sunset, Night Sky, Spring Garden and Brown Noise each change the colors, the tones and the ambient sound. Buy one, or buy them together, once. There is no subscription.
