Weather 120 Widget
MTBorDie
Weather 120 Widget specializes in delivering accurate meteogram style weather data for the upcoming 120 hours or 240 hours in widget form that can be placed directly on your home-screen. The widget is jam packed with data--best viewed by expanding to the entire screen after dropping it in place--providing you hour-by-hour temperature (actual and feels-like), dew point, chance of precipitation (rain and snow), precipitation total (hourly and daily), wind speed, humidity, cloud coverage, and visibility. All the data you need to plan outdoor activities for the upcoming 120-hours (5-days) or rotate your phone to landscape mode and see the 240-hours (10-days) forecast.
For example, decide which days to trail run, and which to recover. Decide which summit to hike for best views. Learn what part of the day will provide the least rain for a mountain bike ride. Learn how the wind will impact your outdoor activity. For even greater ease of use, open the slider functionality to drag your finger across the charts, drawing a vertical line, helping you focus on hour-by-hour changes in the upcoming weather.
Leveraging 82,000 weather stations spread globally; national meteorological agencies, radars, and weather satellites; Weather 120 Widget app calculates the weather for any location on Earth down to a resolution of 500 meters. Not too shabby. So, you're not limited to just towns and cities. Get the wind speed at that mountain top peak, predict the chance of rain at that off-road trail deep in the woods, prepare for the expected cloud coverage at that island in the middle of nowhere, or simply get the temperature at home… for the entirety of the next 120 or 240 hours.
Weather 120 Widget is not for you if all you need to know is the weather “right now”. If this is your case, choose between one of the hundreds of apps that already exist for this purpose (or perhaps just look outside). Instead, Weather 120 Widget app is designed to help you plan your next 120-hours or 240-hours by providing you weather information directly to your home-screen in a meteogram, chart based form. Easily plan your week at a glance.
Weather 120 Widget also respects your privacy. The app doesn’t collect any of your data... none… nada. It’s a simple as that. You do not have to log in. The only permission you will asked for is location, and you don’t even have to agree to that if you don’t want to get weather for your present location. Yeah, it’s pretty cool.
