Cantos para la Santa Misa

The Catholic Church recognizes singing as a treasure of inestimable value, so that music will be more holy the more it is intimately linked to the liturgical action. For this reason, the songs chosen for the Eucharist should be as close to the liturgy as possible.

The texts intended for singing must be in accordance with Catholic doctrine and even more, must be taken mainly from Sacred Scripture and liturgical sources.

- The song must be used in compliance with the provisions regarding the mass and the sacraments.

- The liturgical song serves to express all kinds of prayer, praise, forgiveness, petition, reconciliation, healing, liberation.

- No one can change the liturgy, add or take anything from it on their own initiative, even if they are a priest.
