CleanerMaco – Advanced Storage Registry & File Management
CleanerMaco is a functional file management utility designed to identify and organize specific non-media data sets—such as application installers (APKs), residual system fragments, and archive logs—that are often distributed across hidden internal directories.
Core Management Functions
Deep-Sector APK Identification
CleanerMaco’s core feature is the detection of Android Package Kits (APKs) across the entire file system. It locates redundant installers that reside outside of standard download folders, ensuring users can manage unused setup files effectively.
Orphaned File & Residual Data Mapping
The application identifies folders and data clusters that persist after their parent applications have been uninstalled. These "orphaned" files are often buried in deep sub-directories that require high-level access to be identified.
Ad-Module Cache Reporting
Surface data generated by integrated advertising frameworks. These files are typically stored in application-specific paths, and CleanerMaco provides a centralized view for manual review.
Temporary Data Indexing
Catalog transient system files and temporary records into a structured list, allowing for an organized audit of short-term data usage.
Requirement for All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
To fulfill its core purpose as an advanced management tool, CleanerMaco requires the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission.
Why this is a Core Feature requirement:
Management of Non-Media Data: Standard API permissions only allow access to Photos and Videos. Since CleanerMaco’s core utility is managing APKs, ZIP archives, and Residual Folders, it is technically impossible to perform these functions without "All Files Access."
Full-System Directory Traversal: "Residual Data" and "Ad Caches" are intentionally stored by the system in paths inaccessible to basic permissions. To provide a factual and complete inventory of these files, the app must have the authority to scan the entire internal storage volume.
Manual Management of Hidden Assets: Without this permission, the app would fail to locate more than 80% of the target file types, rendering the "Deep Scanning" and "Package Management" features non-functional.
User-Initiated Manual Control
CleanerMaco is a passive reporting and management utility. It does not perform any automated deletions, background modifications, or scheduled tasks. Following a scan, users are presented with a categorized report. All file removals are manual actions initiated by the user, ensuring total transparent control over every byte of data.
