Varful

Varful is the app dedicated to mountain hikers in Romania — marked trails, complete offline maps, and a real community of mountain enthusiasts.

🗺️ Complete offline map
The entire map of Romania, with official tourist markings (red stripe, blue cross, yellow triangle, etc.), comes included directly in the app, without any separate download. It works perfectly even without a signal — exactly when you need it most, on the mountain.

🥾 Discover and organize hikes
Explore marked trails from all over the country, follow your route with live GPS, and organize or join community-created hikes.

💬 Hiking community
Post photos and stories from your trails, chat with other hikers, and get real recommendations from people who have actually walked those trails.

🏔️ Useful information
See the weather forecast for the trail area, mountain huts and partners, and calculate your hiking level with a quick questionnaire.

Whether you're on your first hike or looking for new challenges in the Carpathians, Varful keeps you connected to the mountains — online or offline.
