MAAS Driver is the official driver companion app for fleets running on the MAAS Transport Management System. Drivers sign in with their company-issued account to receive
assigned delivery routes, capture proof of delivery, and stream live location to the dispatch team — with full offline support for real-world last-mile operations.
KEY FEATURES
• Clock in and pre-trip vehicle inspection
Start the shift by clocking in, selecting an assigned vehicle, and completing a pre-trip vehicle inspection checklist. Flag defects with remarks and photos before hitting
the road.
• Assigned route management
View daily trips sorted by execution priority. Each trip shows pickup and drop-off stops with addresses, customer details, required tasks, and on-trip status.
• Live GPS tracking
Continuous background GPS streaming to the dispatch team for real-time fleet visibility, accurate ETAs, and trip audit history. Tracking starts when the driver presses Start
Trip and stops automatically when the trip ends.
• Shipment scanning
Scan shipments at pickup and drop-off using built-in barcode, QR code, SKU, and pallet scanning. Bulk-scan mode supports high-volume routes.
• Proof of delivery
Capture proof of delivery at each stop with required photos and on-screen customer signature. Photo requirements are configurable per company policy.
• Full offline mode
Work continues without internet. Check-in, check-out, scan shipments, take photos, collect signatures, and complete tasks while offline — every action queues locally and
syncs automatically when connectivity returns.
• Exception and late-arrival handling
Record late-arrival reasons or mark a delivery as failed with structured reason codes. Switch driver mid-trip is supported for handoffs.
• End-of-shift clock out
Complete the shift with end-of-day signature and odometer capture.
• Push notifications
Instant alerts for new job assignments and route updates via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

MAAS Driver is built for professional drivers operating under fleets and transport companies that use the MAAS platform. This is a B2B application — a company-issued account
is required. It is not a public ride-share or food-delivery app, and it is not available for personal use without a sponsoring company.

• Location (including background): used to track the vehicle's position during an active trip so dispatch can monitor delivery progress and provide accurate ETAs to
customers. Background tracking is active only between Start Trip and End Trip.
