PNG Tok-Pisin

PNG Tok Pisin is an interactive learning resource for people to support their day to day work when engaging with Papua New Guinea (PNG) communities.

The app uses immersive technology to introduce users to PNG culture and provides information on PNG communities to help workers understand more about PNG peoples’ unique cultural heritage and identity.

Interactive features within the app include pronunciation of Tok-Pisin words, maps; common greetings and phrases, prayers and songs; proverbs, details of ceremonies; support with pronouncing and learning vowels and consonants. This cultural practice tool informs practice design, review, and workforce support to best serve the needs of PNG communities.
