How It Works:
Adirstat performs a recursive scan of your storage, calculating the size of every file and folder. It then presents this data as an interactive treemap — a visualization method where each file or folder is represented as a rectangle sized proportionally to its storage consumption. To show you exactly what's using your storage, Adirstat needs permission to access all files on your device (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). This is similar to how file manager apps work.
