When a crisis disrupts everyday life, it's not just the emergency services that make a difference. It's also the people who are close by. Those who step in and help each other when it really matters.
With Emergency Assistance, we make it easier to be part of that effort.
Emergency Assistance was developed by the Capital Emergency Services with the aim of giving citizens the opportunity to contribute when situations arise where more hands are needed.
When we are in a special incident, we may need extra support. With Emergency Assistance, you are asked if you want to help. You choose whether you want to say yes, and only for what makes sense to you. It is voluntary, specific and based on the individual situation.
Be prepared
An important part of a strong emergency service is what we do in everyday life. Knowing what to do and having thought things through in advance.
Therefore, Beredskabshjælp also provides access to knowledge, guides and functions that help you strengthen your own preparedness. The app collects advice from relevant authorities and organizations, and the app's content has been prepared in collaboration with the Danish Emergency Management Association. When more people have control of their home preparedness, more of us can help those who need it most.

The app is free. Once you have downloaded the app, you will immediately have access to guides and checklists for your own preparedness. Remember to turn on notifications if you want to be notified when we need volunteer preparedness helpers. If you sign up for a task, you will be asked to confirm your identity with MitID. You therefore do not need to create a profile in advance.
