De Meedenker is the app from Het Onbegrepen Kind. Not a list of tips, but a quiet place that thinks along with you, remembers your story, and shows you that you are not alone.
Behavior is never the problem. It is a signal. De Meedenker helps you see what lies beneath your child's behavior, and sometimes also what it triggers in you. Because you only truly understand your child when you also get to know yourself a little better.

Talking
You open the app and we just talk. Tell us what is going on, by typing or speaking, and De Meedenker thinks along with you, in Jordy's language. Everything you discuss becomes your common thread, so you never have to explain who you are again. Did things go wrong for a moment? The undo button is always at the top right. The lessons from Jordy van Tongeren, in his own voice, by theme: physical behavior, tantrums, not listening, bedtime, "I don't want to," what lies beneath behavior, you as a parent, recovering after a conflict, boundaries without struggle, and how to say it. Each theme is a module with his lessons, in his order. You can listen to the first lesson of each module for free, and at the top you can immediately see what is free and what is for members; as a member, everything is open and you choose your own pace. Underneath each lesson, you can immediately analyze it for your child. And every month a live masterclass: you let us know you'll be there, add it to your calendar, receive a reminder, and listen back to the recording if you couldn't make it.
The Circle
The Circle is for members. Parents like you share what happened at home: where they got stuck, or a moment of success. With your first name and a drawn face or your own photo, or without a name if you prefer. Other parents give a heart with a single tap or write a reply. No tips, just recognition. Every week, one question from Jordy appears at the top: you type your answer and see what other parents answered; no one sees what you chose. Jordy reads along.
You
Your family, your child's compass, and what the app remembers about you. You decide on that, right down to the last sentence. For each child, a needle points to what the behavior of these weeks requires: feeling wanted, belonging, or being unconditionally loved. No score, but direction. You also save what worked here, because that is part of your story too. And under Family, you choose which notifications you want per category.
Together
Are you doing this as a couple? Invite the other parent. They get their own login and join your subscription for free. What you share remains yours: the app never shares anything from one person with the other.

De Meedenker does not provide ready-made tricks. He helps you stick to an approach, through trial and error, taking one small step every day. Sometimes things get a little worse before they get better; even then, he stays by your side. In the event of signs of unsafety, the app refers you to real help.
