HotQuakes - Earthquake Monitor

This App is an Earthquake Viewer and Emergency Monitor - If you live in an earthquake prone area, you can create a list of emergency contact phone numbers. People on the emergency contact list are notified when an earthquake occurs within a user specified magnitude and a user specified radius of your device. The notifications are automatically sent in the event that you become incapacitated and can't reach your device. If you are not in an earthquake zone, you can monitor user specified locations where loved ones may live or where curiosity might take you. For example, the Yellowstone Supervolcano is showing heightened activity in the past month and might be a good place to monitor. The viewer functionality offers efficient views of earthquake swarms and regional earthquake locations for today and the previous 30 days. You can zoom into swarm areas where earthquakes are accumulating (like the Supervolcano?) and easily navigate to the latest quake locations. And also, you can see a depth plot of earthquakes in the view zone, which can be very interesting in places like Hawaii, for example.
