For the app's development, files were downloaded from the SSP SP website at the address above. The files contain data from police reports (B.O.) registered throughout the state of São Paulo between January 1, 2022, and June 30, 2026. The B.O.s are of the following nature: robberies and thefts of cell phones, robberies and thefts of vehicles, deaths due to police interventions (MDIP), and crimes of another nature. The Fique Seguro São José dos Campos app only shows locations with five or more police reports. The crime data is updated in the app every four months. The app's price covers production costs and data traffic.
