dpads is an ambient pad synthesizer that lets you sustain a calm, evolving drone in any musical key — and switch keys or chords any time without ever cutting the sound off.
Pick a root note from all 12 keys, choose a chord type (Major, Minor, or Sus2), and dpads generates a rich, layered pad using detuned oscillators and a slowly sweeping filter for that organic, "breathing" ambient texture. Change your mind mid-session? Tap a new key or chord and dpads crossfades smoothly into it — the old chord fades out while the new one fades in, with zero clicks or jarring cuts.
