Aurelio Baldor de la Vega, Cuban and mathematician, who died in 1978 in the city of Miami, Florida, was one of the greatest contributors to the world of Mathematics in Spanish-speaking countries, with works that, even today, continue to be applicable, with his most popular work: Baldor's Arithmetic, Plane and Space Geometry, and Baldor's Trigonometry.

After having presented these works, he also worked as a professor of Mathematics in New Jersey, where he mainly dedicated himself to the study of theorems and the development of pre-calculus mathematical exercises.
