Mawlid Sharaf al-Anam was composed by Imam Shihab al-Din Ahmad ibn Ali ibn Qasim al-Maliki al-Bukhari al-Andalusi al-Mursi al-Lakhmi, better known as Al-Hariri. Although not as widely known as later Rawi texts such as Al-Barzanji, Ad-Diba'i, or Simt al-Durar, this work actually served as a primary reference and source for many of those later texts, since Sharaf al-Anam is the oldest known Rawi text in the history of Mawlid literature. Even the famous phrase "Adliya'ul Lami'" originates from a verse within Imam Al-Hariri's original composition.
