AERIONIC
AERIONIC is the app for plane spotters and aviation enthusiasts in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Share your best aircraft photos and videos, receive automatic alerts for special liveries, and connect with hundreds of spotters who share your passion. New to the app? The Getting Started map guides you through five steps, and short introductory tips explain each area on your first visit.
🕘 NEW: Your Archive – Calendar & Photo Map
Your spotter diary in your profile: The calendar turns every day into a photo circle with your entries. The map displays your entries as photo pins exactly where they were taken – airports are shown as clustered circles with a counter, and when you zoom in, images split at the same point.
📍 NEW: Automatic Location Detection
If you select a photo with location data, the app automatically adds the location – which can be removed with a tap. Older entries are added to the map by manually adding the location. Location information in entries opens the route directly in Google Maps.

Every morning, a feed map displays the day's highlights – special liveries first, with the time and a picture, updated at midday and in the evening. One glance – and you know if the fence is worth watching.
🔔 Flight Alerts & Spotter Tips
Our system scans all DACH airports hourly and recognizes special liveries – over 355 verified. Custom alerts for airlines, aircraft types, or registrations notify you via push notification hours before landing or takeoff.
📸 Gallery & Photo Studio
Large preview with cropping via finger swipe and format selection (original, 4:5, 1:1). Filters, text, stickers, and drawing tools – in full resolution, sharp even on TV. Up to 5 images per post, uploaded simultaneously.
🎬 Videos with Custom Cover Images
Choose the perfect frame for your preview. Videos start instantly thanks to modern streaming and automatically adjust the quality to your device.

In the evenings, the Night Lounge opens: video loop, music, and community chat – also available via TV cast. Kaptain, our AI spotter, answers questions and knows about events like the stream schedule.
