Brams is an Android keyboard inspired by 1960s German industrial design: few colors, simple shapes and every detail in service of function. The keys have depth, sink when you tap them and sound like a real mechanical keyboard.
And one rule never changes: Brams has no internet permission. What you type never leaves your phone.
KEYS YOU CAN FEEL
• 3D keys with shadows, side walls and a matte texture that sink with every tap
• 17 keycap shapes, including mechanical keyboard profiles like OEM, SA, DSA, XDA, KAT and MT3
• 22 color themes, each in light, dark and AMOLED
• 19 Signature themes you unlock by typing, with Brams Points
• Adjustable backlight and 12 gaming RGB effects: wave, waterfall, breathing, reactive, ripple, starlight, rain, fire and more, in 24 colors
• Caps Lock light, animated key entrance and rounded top corners
• Adjustable height and spacing, one-handed mode and a floating keyboard on tablets
MECHANICAL KEYBOARD SOUNDS
14 sounds, many recorded from real keyboards: Mechanical, Magnetic, Aluminum, Cushioned, Springy and more. Space, Enter and Delete have their own sound. Adjustable vibration, with its own strength for the space bar.

TRANSLATION WITHOUT LEAVING THE KEYBOARD
Translate what you write between Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Dutch. Translation happens right on your phone. All translation languages come installed with the app.
VOICE TYPING, OFFLINE
Tap the microphone and talk. Your speech becomes text right on your phone. Brams only listens while the voice panel is open, and the audio is never saved or sent anywhere.
EVERYDAY TOOLS
• Emoji with search by word or phrase, your choice of size and suggestions as you type
• Clipboard with text and images, pinned items and your choice of how long to keep them
• Hold the space bar to move the cursor like a trackpad
• A toolbar your way, including Switch keyboard
• Text shortcuts and typing statistics with a weekly summary
• With the phone sideways, the keyboard takes only half the screen
REAL PRIVACY
• No tracking and no data collection: no ads, no analytics, no account
• No internet permission: Brams never sends anything you type, say or copy
• Keyboard and translation languages come installed with the app from Google Play; nothing is downloaded later
• Incognito mode, and no suggestions or learning in password fields
