Mio is a digital health platform designed to support remote patient monitoring, health status management, and communication with clinical teams.
Through Mio, users can participate in follow-up programs defined by healthcare professionals, record relevant information, and access guidance for their health care, both preventative and for managing chronic diseases and conditions.
The application allows integration with compatible health measurement devices (such as blood pressure, glucose, heart rate, and others), whose data can be captured and viewed within the platform. This information is reviewed by trained clinical staff to support monitoring and decision-making within the healthcare team.
Mio includes features that support clinical evaluation by professionals, based on data reported by the user and measurements obtained from devices. The application does not perform automatic medical diagnoses nor does it replace the evaluation of a healthcare professional.
To support treatment, Mio can include tools such as medication reminders and adherence monitoring according to the guidelines defined by the treatment team. In the area of mental and behavioral health, the application can incorporate validated screening tools, such as the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 questionnaires. These results are intended to support healthcare professionals and do not constitute a diagnosis on their own.
Mio also facilitates communication between patients and clinical teams through channels such as messaging, calls, and telemedicine consultations, when these functionalities are enabled by the relevant healthcare institution.
In addition, the application includes a personal health record module where users can store and organize clinical documents, including test results, prescriptions, orders, and medical histories, allowing centralized access to their information.
