ParaGuard – Paranormal Monitor is an experimental ghost-hunting app for Android that lets you monitor your surroundings and record EVP sessions.
The app combines a watch mode with an EVP recorder, utilizing various smartphone sensors. This allows you to monitor the magnetic field, noise level, movement, vibration, compass direction, and light level during an investigation.
In watch mode, ParaGuard monitors the environment in real time. The app clearly displays measurements and can trigger an alarm in case of unusual changes. These include changes in the magnetic field, noise spikes, movement, vibrations, or significant changes in light. The sensitivity for individual areas can be adjusted in the settings.
The EVP mode enables audio recording directly within the app. Recordings can be saved, played back, and enhanced with a playback boost. The boost only affects playback and does not alter the original recording, ensuring that saved WAV recordings remain unchanged.
