GREMBA - felvételi kvíz

GREMBA is a quiz-based mobile application that helps 6th and 8th grade students prepare for the Hungarian language entrance exam in high school. The central Hungarian entrance exam is fundamentally competency-based, but to achieve a good result, you also need a background knowledge of grammar and literature, which can be easily practiced with the application and gives you the opportunity to earn extra points. The application currently contains more than 2,500 questions, divided into 8 larger units: Sounds, Words, Parts of Sentences, Spelling, Grammar and Language Games, Idioms and Proverbs, Literary Knowledge and Extra Content. The questions are aligned with the curriculum of the Hungarian language and literature subject in primary school, as well as with the entrance exam tasks of previous years. When creating the application, we paid special attention to making it interesting and enjoyable for students, and to allowing them to practice through examples used in everyday language and song lyrics. In the Extra content, we provide tips and advice for the comprehension and composition tasks of the entrance exam, as well as for the admission process in general.
Preparing for the central Hungarian entrance exam is an exciting period for every student, requiring a long preparation process. However, every applicant has a mobile phone in their pocket, so they can prepare for the entrance exam even in their free minutes, while sitting on the train or bus, or during a break, and learn grammar and literary knowledge that they can successfully recall while writing the entrance exam tasks. The application is available on mobile devices (phones, tablets) running the Android operating system, for a one-time download fee - this means that it is not a subscription, but the application can be used for an unlimited period after downloading. An internet connection is required to download and use the application.
